Vitamedicine is a personalised person-centred holistic system of health care with a core set of philosophies, principles, and practices. There are 12 pillars of Vitamedicine. Vitamedicine looks at the whole person, physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and environmentally, among other aspects, and focuses on the person’s individual needs. It aims to address the underlying causes of disordered health and promote optimum health. It takes into full account the lifestyle factors of the person. The uniqueness of everyone is taken into account with vitamedicine. Vitamedicine is integrative in nature and utilises the integration of traditional knowledge and science.

The Vitamedicine Institute officially opened in 2002 as part of the clinic (established 1999). The Vitamedicine Institute has had various names over the years with its running name in the background. Nutrition, naturopathic medicine, and lifestyle medicine play an integral role in promoting health.
